UEFA EURO 2020

Yes, it's now 2021 but we haven't got the title wrong. UEFA EURO 2020 was postponed last year and will now take place this June....but it will still be called 2020!!

England, Scotland and Wales have all qualified which makes it something we can all look forward to.

So, let's find out a bit more about the competition.

TEAMS

The qualifying countries have been placed into groups to play their first matches. Wales is group A and England and Scotland have both been placed into Group D.

  • Group A: Turkey, Italy, Wales, Switzerland

  • Group B: Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Russia

  • Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia

  • Group D: England, Croatia, Scotland, Czech Republic

  • Group E: Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia

  • Group F: Hungary, Portugal, France, Germany

Wales:        

12th June vs Switzerland (on BBC)
16th June vs Turkey (on BBC)
20th June vs Italy ( on ITV)

England:      

13th June vs Croatia (on BBC)
18th June vs Scotland (on ITV)
22nd June vs Czech Republic ( on ITV)

Scotland:

14th June vs Czech Republic
18th June vs England
22nd June vs Croatia

 
 

The semi-finals will both be played at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 6th July and Wednesday 7th July.

The final will also be played at Wembley, on Sunday 11 July and will be shown on ITV and BBC.
