Outdoor cricket returned on 29 March so you can finally have the much-needed opportunity to get outside, get active, make friends and – importantly – enjoy the summer! Dynamos Cricket is the perfect opportunity to do just that, with 6-12-week courses running at clubs and sports centres across the country:

  • During the summer term, beginning 7 May

  • Over the school holidays alongside The Hundred (Jul-Aug)

Each week, participants will develop new cricketing skills including batting, bowling and fielding, plus they will have the chance to play a fast-paced and exciting game of countdown cricket – a new format that mirrors The Hundred competition launching this summer.

The programme is complemented by the free Dynamos Cricket app which contains loads of exclusive content. You will be able to learn new skills, take part in interactive quizzes and unlock videos and challenges from key players from The Hundred.

Families also have The Hundred to look forward to this summer – a brand new 100-ball cricket competition, fusing epic entertainment with high energy sporting action. Kids that sign up for Dynamos will receive priority access tickets for their family, as well as receiving a whole host of free gifts and money-can’t-buy experiences associated with the competition and its partners.

Commenting, The Hundred’s Welsh Fire and England men’s player, Jonny Bairstow said:

“As a kid I was constantly outside playing sport and being active with friends and family. The past year has been tough for everyone, but I can’t imagine what it has been like for kids. That’s why it’s great news that they can finally get out there again this summer. Having seen some Dynamos sessions first-hand, I can honestly say they are so much fun! All the kids have big smiles on their faces and that’s exactly how it should be. I can’t wait for that type of energy to be present at The Hundred this summer – it’ll be amazing seeing the Dynamos kids and their families cheering us on.”
