The Winter Olympics begins in February 2022 in Beijing and the Winter Paralympics also takes place there in March 2022.
FIGURE SKATING
Ice Skating has so many elements to it that you might enjoy with family and friends. Learning this sport opens opportunities to try speed skating, ice hockey, ice dancing or figure skating.
SKATE AT SOMERSET HOUSE
After a year away, SKATE returns to its iconic Somerset House venue in London all this month and until 16th January 2022.
National Schools Snowsports Association
The National Schools Snowsports Association has been working hard over the last 18 months to keep snowsports moving through the tough period for activity and travel that we have been through.
THE ALPINE ALL STARS
Open to all school age children from January 2022, the Alpine All Stars plans to get more children involved in snowsports.From beginner to a basic competitive level they will teach a group of beginners from one school per partner slope and work with them for regular sessions throughout the school year.
nssa Racing
Over the last year, it’s been great to get back to these great events and expand the number with all of them seeing some great competition from experienced racers and many who are brand new to racing. The events are run in such a way as to be welcoming and unintimidating for new racers.
NSSA - Aim to Become an Instructor
As part of the NSSA mission to increase participation across snowsports in general through involvement with schools, the last year saw us partner with IASI to introduce the Level One Alpine Instructor Qualification from 15 years old.
