The Sports This Month
wimbledon
Wimbledon, the famous tennis tournament, did not take place last year and instead everyone had to get creative…However, the event that many people associate with summer in the U.K is back!
Girls Golf Rocks
The England Golf and Golf Foundation Young Ambassadors have some really great news for any girls who may like to give golf a go! Have a read of what Niamh and Lily have to say – this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Rowing
This is the first time that we have featured rowing on bsporty and it's an exciting time to start. Henley Women's Regatta is taking place 2-4th July, the main Regatta is taking place in August and the Olympics has a full rowing competition schedule in the summer.
Skateboarding
Skateboard GB skateboarder, Sky Brown, took 2nd place at the Dew Tour Skateboard Park final on Sunday (23rd May 2021) in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, putting her right on track for Olympic qualification.
Pony Stars
This summer, The British Horse Society are excited to be launching Pony Stars, the new Junior Challenge Awards aimed at helping under 12s discover, develop, and nurture a love for ponies and the outdoors.
Football
The UEFA 2020 Championship is just around the corner. Our last football article gave the schedule. We have 3 home nation teams taking part.
