Autumn Virtual Championships Results
The idea behind the virtual events was for IAPS Sport to engage with our member schools and help to keep children fit, active and having fun throughout this challenging time, whilst our physical sports events were not possible.
We would like to thank every school that has got involved over the last 4 weeks. In total, 81 schools took part, including international members in France, Holland, Kenya and Turkey!
We have absolutely loved seeing you try the activities on social media –it’s fantastic to see how schools have adapted this term from the traditional sports programme and tried new activities.
Over the 4 weeks, a whopping 229,622 star jumps were completed, 143,816 step ups and 142,365 bounce abouts as well as many other activities! Below are some highlights and results for each activity.
The virtual championships are now back in the spring term (see our Spring Virtual Championships article) with some new sports and activities for you to try!
